Janousky, Florence Adler, nee Kasdan. Born July 17, 1926 and died November 1, 2012. Florence, 86, lived a full life in Florida for over 30 years after retiring from the NYC School system where she influenced many young lives in East New York. She loved teaching, traveling and little dogs. A strong willed woman who fought to the end. She is going to be terribly missed by her family and her numerous friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Janousky and brother Abraham Kasdan. Survived by her loving children: daughter: Sherri Janousky (partner Eva Bergant) and son Howard (Susan) Janousky; and cherished granddaughter: Alison. Her beloved husband Jerome Adler and his children: Steve Adler, Sandy (Mark) Wilensky and Barbara Greenfield. Grandchildren: Michael Adler, Rachel (Brian) Bausch, Jo Wilensky, Adam Wilensky, and Eric and Lauren Greenfield. Beloved aunt to many, including Mara, Burt, Wendy, Merrill, Stuart, Bruce and Eric. Chapel services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Rd., Southwest Ranches, FL (954) 434-1531.
