Ralston, Herbert "Herb", 88, of Boca Raton, FL passed away Friday evening, February 8, 2013 in Boca Raton Regional Hospital. His loving family surrounded him as he passed peacefully due to complications of pneumonia and kidney failure. He was a very proud World War II veteran who was one of the brave soldiers who stormed Normandy. Mr. Ralston was born in 1924 and lived many years in New York City before marrying the love of his life and moving to Houston, TX in the Webster and Clear Lake City area where he lived and worked many years before moving to and retiring in Boca Raton. He was an extremely hard worker and very devoted family man who will be missed very much. He is survived by his adoring wife, Kathleen; and his children, Roger Ralston Sr. and Rhonda Ralston along with Roger Sr.'s wife (who he also called his daughter) Michele; and his grandchildren, Brittni, Julie, Roger Jr. and Ryan, and Rhonda's son, Deven. Services will be held as follows: There will be a wake and viewing on Monday, February 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Mr. Ralston's funeral will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Gardens Memorial Park located at 4103 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
