Klingsten, John S., age 47, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died unexpectedly on February 21, 2013. John was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 2, 1965. He became a Florida resident in 2005 coming from Howell, Michigan. John worked as a service technician for MarineMax in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was an avid Disney lover and Mickey Mouse connoisseur. John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine M. Klingsten; children, Misty Lynn (Valentin) Medrea, Meaghan Major, Michelle Major, and Rebecca Ann Klingsten; grandchildren, Hailey, Joslyn, Collin, Tyler, and Malia; brothers, James (Barbara) Klingsten and Robert (Jane) Klingsten; parents, Mary and Bud Klingsten; grandmother, Eleanor Klingsten. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A funeral service for John will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 28 at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Anthony Clay officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college fund for Rebecca Ann Klingsten at Bank of America.
