Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Irma Teresa Rosales, 68, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013. Born August 28, 1944 in Colon, Panama, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso Montufar and Emilia Montufar (living). She is survived by her husband, Victor Rosales, of 38 years, three daughters, Michelle (Steve D.) Brosseau, Nicole (Chris M.) Lee, Chantal Rosales, three grandchildren, Joseph, Raquel and Christian, and two brothers, Alfonso and Gustavo Montufar. As a military spouse, she lived in Panama, Maryland and Germany and after her husband's retirement, they returned to Panama. They settled in Pembroke Pines, FL in 1997 due to their jobs at the US Southern Command in Miami, FL where Irma worked as a Secretary. She retired in 2006. Irma was a dedicated wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She had a positive energy that radiated from within and all who came in contact with her knew how genuinely sweet, kind and devout she was. Irma lived for the Lord and her family. She loved life and always had a beautiful smile and laugh that was contagious. She adored her family and her passion was always to take care of them, near and far. She always made time for phone calls from her family and friends and loved telling funny stories. Her enthusiasm for life was evident every day. Irma enjoyed attending prayer rosary groups, cooking, dancing and decorating her home. Irma will be dearly missed by her family and friends. We celebrate her beautiful memory and thank God for every day we were blessed with her presence on this world. Heaven has gained an angel when Irma entered God's kingdom and though she will be missed by those on earth that loved her, she will live forever in our hearts. We love you mom, Happy Mother's Day.Arrangements by Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel, 954-438-8222
