Novak, Paul Daniel, 50, of Fort Lauderdale, FL. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Paul Novak; father, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and great-uncle, on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Paul leaves behind his two sons, Michael Novak of Ft. Lauderdale and Stephen Novak of Gainesville, his five brothers, his sister and their spouses: Daniel and Jackie Novak of Lantana, FL, Dr. Gary and Leslie Novak of Venice, FL, Greg and Rose Novak of Venice FL, Jim and Rosemary Novak of Davie, FL, Russ and Mary Novak of Flagler Beach, FL and his devoted sister Anne Novak-Smith and her husband Ron Smith of Melbourne Beach, FL. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephew: Lori Novak-Watson of Pompano Beach, FL, Dan, Kim, Kristen and Kaden Novak of Lake Worth, FL, Christopher, Deanna and Claire Novak of Venice, FL, Jennifer Novak of Los Angeles, CA, Amanda and Mitch Forester of Melbourne Beach, FL, Adam Novak of Indianapolis, IN, Russell Novak, Kelley Novak, Matt Novak all of Flagler Beach, FL and Andrew Novak of Davie, FL. Paul was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas, HS, Class of 1980; he was employed by Motorola for 28 years during his professional career and was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church. It's been said that it's important to remember a lost loved one by the "dash" between the years from birth-to-death. His "dash" was love. Among many things, Paul's dash represents a passionate love of family; a deep devotion to God, fishing and the unconditional love and joy he received from his ever faithful dog "Tango". Paul's journey in life was full of obstacles and challenges each of which he met with a strong instinct to survive. He faced these adversities with a sharp wit and a boundless sense of humor that will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed. Paul is predeceased by his beloved parents, Dan and Ann Novak and his sister Beverly. The family will receive friends Friday 4 PM - 8 PM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs Catholic Church. Urn placement will occur at a later time at Our Lady Queen Of Heaven Cemetery.
