Charles 'Chuck' Boehm, 81, of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away peacefully, at home with his family at his side, on December 19. Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1932, Chuck was a proud Korean War Army veteran who moved to Florida in 1964 and worked for Eastern Airlines until 1991. He then worked for the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation Dept. until he retired in 2001. Chuck is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia, sons Charles and James, daughter-in-law Elayne (Wallach), brother Robert Boehm of Delmont, PA, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22 from 7pm-9pm at Fred Hunter's, 6301 Taft St, Hollywood. A memorial Mass to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at 11am on Monday, December 23 at St. David's Catholic Church, 3900 S University Dr, Davie. Interment will be at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Chuck's memory to either of his two favorite charitable organizations, the James Jr Fund (954-739-8335) or The Prestige Club (954-617-6210).
