Felix, 91, of Sunrise, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 20, 1922. Felix served his country during war time with the US Coast Guard. Surviving Felix is a daughter Elizabeth Colantuono (Jorge), a son Nicholas Magrone (Lisa) grandchildren; Felicia Colantuono, Nicholas Magrone(Laura), Michael Magrone(Samantha), Great Grandchildren; Mikayla VanVoorhis, Joseph Colantuono, Jr, Maggie Elizabeth Magrone, and Levi Joseph Magrone. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Brescia, a son Thomas Magrone, a brother Gary Magrone, a sister Agnes DeGiglio, son-in-law Joseph A. Colantuono and Grandson Joseph C. Colantuono. The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 731 North Ocean, Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Entombment with Military Honors will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pompano Beach, FL.
