As the anniversary of Bobbe death approaches We still miss her so much. As the years have passed a lot has changed. We lost my mom , Alice Foster in 2017. She joined my father Bill, Bobbe and Shelly. I know they are in heaven together. Four extraordinary people. Probably starting a sewing club. Dear Toni Paoli joined them in November 2019. We have so many memories of happy times to carry with us.

Dear Mr. Schlesinger, Gregg and Scott … my heart is filled with great sadness having learned of your loss. Mrs. Schlesinger was an inspiration and guiding light throughout my life. It has been over thirty years since we have seen each other but you are often in my thoughts. Some of my fondest childhood memories were times spent with your family.
Mrs. Schlesinger was often the angel on my shoulder helping me through very difficult times in my life. There were many times throughout my adult life where I would recall her words of encouragement and advice. The power of those childhood memories of her helped me to find happiness and become the type of person of whom I know she would be proud.
I know the memories of her will continue to inspire and bring joy to everyone who had the great fortune of knowing her. I will miss her tremendously.

Bobbe was like a second mother to me and a best friend to my mom Alice Foster. They were in sewing group for close to 50 years,of course none of the girls did any sewing, but they developed lasting friendships. I grew up knowing Bobbe and will never forget how her smile lit up the room. I am going to miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to Shelly and her loving family. We all feel a great loss. Dear Shelly, Scott and Greg, Though it's been many years since I've seen Bobbe my heart is saddened to know that she is gone. At the lowest point in my own life your wife and mother NEVER gave up on me. While others turned their back she embraced me with love. I will never forget her kindness. Hopefully, Shelly, you are comforted by the matchless devotion you showed this wonderful woman, especially when she needed you most. You two were quite the love story, and so generous to friends and causes. Who would not treasure her last note to them? She was such a prolific writer, and so quick to acknowledge the slightest act or gesture of kindness or hospitality, any and all of which she richly deserved. She gave a thousand times more than she got, and enjoyed it immensely. Finally, the term "irreplaceable" has meaning. Thankfully, she has left us with countless memories of the best of times.

She was truly one of the most spectacular people i've ever known. Beautiful externally, and even more so internally. Kind, generous, loving, happy.... She was a plethora of positivity all wrapped up in one body. She would always make sure that I knew that I was thought of, cared for and special. I will always remember her laughter and cherish that fact that she truly loved my mother. My heart breaks for the Schlesinger family, her friends, for my mom and for the world who lost a truly wonderful woman. I will miss her very much.
