Dr. Arnold (Nol) van Stekelenburg, D.D.S. April 28, 2012.
Fondly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Jos, as well as children Margaret, Carol (Dave), John (Tracey), grandchildren Matt(Michelle), Kristian, Nikolas, and Nicole, as well as Leslie and many other friends and former patients.
A proud father and respected dentist, Nol was born in Ravenstein, the Netherlands. After completing dental school he was sent to Djakarta, Indonesia to complete his military service. As luck would have it, this is where he met his future wife Jos and promptly decided to move to Canada. He married in Edmonton, Alberta in 1956. A vacation to Vancouver in 1960 decided Nol's future and it was here that he brought up his family.
We will miss his quiet ways and sense of humour. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 26 at Hazelmere Country Club, 18150 8th Avenue, Surrey, between 11 am and 2 pm. Goodbye Daddy and Opa. Wel te rusten.
