Marsha J. (Murphy) Tyndall Obituary
Marsha J. Tyndall passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous health battle.

Marsha was a 1983 graduate of Laurel High School. She went on to have a very successful career as a chemical plater. She worked with Air Pax and, most recently, Fin Tech, from where she retired on disability. She was very proud of her job and had worked her way up from the bottom. She was very knowledgeable in her field and quickly became one of the first and few female chemical platers on the Eastern Shore.

Marsha was an avid reader, loved gardening and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.

She is preceded in death by her father, John W. Tyndall; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Catherine Lambden; a beloved aunt, Annabelle Wilson; and her best friend, Scott Munoz.

Marsha leaves behind her loving family, including her parents, Richard and Sue Murphy; a brother, John T. Tyndall and his wife Casey; a sister, Valerie J. Coffin and her husband Marvin; one aunt, Mary Peart; her grandmother, Florence Hughes; nieces and nephews, Brandon Spicer, J.T. Tyndall, Chelsey Tyndall, Brittany McKelvey and her husband Aaron, and Morgan Pace and numerous cousins and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, with visitation after noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to VITAS Hospice, 20773 Professional Park Blvd., Suite 200, Georgetown, Del 19947.

The family would also like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, especially the ECU Department, and VITAS Hospice staff for their loving and tender care of Marsha in her final days.
