Beverly Bebernes Obituary
Beverly Jean Bebernes passed away December 22, 2010 at her Solvang home surrounded by family and friends after a short illness. She was born to Glen and Josephine Hudson on August 19, 1930 in Oakland, California. The family moved to Buellton in 1931. Beverly graduated from Santa Ynez High School in 1948 and married Kenneth Bebernes of Solvang in January 1950. Her employment included work in medical and dental offices, and she was also involved with the Elks Queen fundraising for many years. She will be remembered for her devotion to her husband and family and will be greatly missed as a wife, mother, aunt and friend.
Beverly is survived by her husband of nearly 61 years and three sons; Scott Bebernes (wife Tina) of Rancho Cucamonga; Pete Bebernes (Ginger) of Placerville; and Bill Bebernes (Debby) of Solvang; nine grandchildren - Kerri Bebernes of Victorville; Ken Bebernes (Roxanne) of Rancho Cucamonga; Krista Odien (David) of Rancho Cucamonga; Rodney and Danny Bebernes of Lafayette, Louisiana; Mike Bebernes of Sydney, Australia, Jenna Bebernes of Solvang, Hudson and Casey Bebernes of Placerville; great-grandchildren Rylee, Kylynn, Jocelyn, and Brayden of Victorville, Scotty of Rancho Cucamonga and Tristan (deceased).
The family acknowledges the care and compassion of Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, Dr. Mariwalla and Estelle Johansen.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011.
