Abraham Alexander Abraham Alexander, 69, of Monticello, FL passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014. A Memorial service in his honor will be held at a later date. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850) 997-5553 is serving the family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Loretta Alexander; two sisters, Rosa (Grant) Scott and Mary Maxwell) Howard; a brother, Charles Alexander; one aunt, Lizzy Collins; two uncles, Andrew and Benjamin Boatman; a sister-in-law, Lynette Hahn; one daughter; four sons; seven grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Amiss, Rosemary  
Rosemary Joan Amiss Rosemary Joan Amiss, aged 90, surrendered her Spirit peacefully to Jesus on December 20,2014 at her home surrounded by family. Rosemary was born March 4, 1924, in St Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Harry W. Wahlert and Flora Krey Wahlert. She is also preceded in Death by her husband Edmund L. Amiss II, and her son Edmund L. Amiss III. Survivors include her 11 children, Michele Griffin, Harry Amiss, Tisha Fletcher, John Amiss, Steve Amiss, Tom Amiss, Adrienne Sutton, David Amiss, Andrea Young, Susan Amiss and Richard Amiss. In addition, she is survived by 3 Son in Laws, 2 Daughter in Laws, 19 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. At a young age, Rosemary very much enjoyed going to the Movies and throughout her life she took great pleasure in playing the piano and reading a good book. She loved the Lord and delighted in worshipping him whenever she was able. One of her greatest joys in life, without a doubt, was spending time with her entire family. Rosemary was dearly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, 2:00pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with viewing one hour prior to services, followed by burial at Roselawn Cemetery.

Arthur Jr., Richard C.  
Richard C. Arthur Jr. Richard C. Arthur Jr. of Wake Forest, NC, passed away on December 12, 2014. He was born in Danville, VA on July 14, 1926 to R.C. Arthur, Sr. and Janie Taylor Hubbard, was the oldest of five children, and had 4 sisters, Peggy, Shelby, Elon, and Linda. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller who proudly served in the military during WWII and the Korean conflict, and served as Post Commander for two years at VFW #6510 in Tallahassee, FL. He was a former resident of Danville, VA; Roanoke, VA; Tallahassee, FL; and currently resided in Wake Forest with his daughter and son in law, Linda and Gary Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Mae Smith Arthur, and is survived by two sisters, Shelby Harris and Elon Kennedy; four children, Linda Shepherd, R.C. Arthur, III, Michael Arthur, and Donna Luehrs; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC on December 16, 2014 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to your local American Legion or VFW in his honor.
