Lenz, Stanley Lester ("Les")  
Stanley Lester ("Les") Lenz Stanley Lester ("Les") Lenz was born in Richmond, Virginia on June 29, 1923. He passed away on June 28, 2015 in Tallahassee FL at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Smith Bosher, and step-father Mike Bosher, his wife of 64 years Emily Holladay Lenz, and his oldest daughter Pamela Lenz Diersen. He attended John Marshall high school in Richmond, Virginia. He served as a PFC in the Army for 3 years during WWII. Les worked for J. W. Fergusson & Sons for 47 years. Les was an avid fisherman, and especially loved fishing in the Chesapeake Bay on the Virginia coast. He also loved to travel and with his wife he Emily visited more than 50 countries. Later Les and Emily also enjoyed spending the winter months in Venice, FL, where he got to enjoy Florida fishing off the local jetties. Les is survived by his daughter Janet Lenz (Robert Reardon) of Tallahassee, grandchildren Eric Diersen (Beth), Atlanta, GA, David Diersen, Marietta, GA, great grandchild, James Diersen, Atlanta, GA, and son-in-law, Joe Diersen, Marietta, GA. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Richmond, VA, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Culley's MeadowWood, Tallahassee is handling arrangements, along with Bliley's funeral home in Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, , East Hill Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL, or a charity of your choice in memory of Stanley L. Lenz.
