Raines, Laura Iris  
Laura Iris Raines Laura Iris Raines was born on October 10, 1937 in Statesboro, Georgia to William Guy Raines, Jr. and Iris Rose Burns Williams. She passed away in her home on January 22, 2015 in Tallahassee, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1941. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hairstylist in Tallahassee for most of her life until she retired in 2004. She traveled the southern states competing and winning various cosmotology competitions as a stylist and a model. She was a true southern belle and will forever be missed by her family and friends who truly loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, William Guy Raines, Jr., her mother Iris Rose Burns Williams and step-father Robert Williams. She is survived by her loving sons, Brett Glover (Debbie Touchton) and Tracy Glover, grandchildren, Matthew Glover (Marisa), Megan Glover, Ilyssa Glover, Peyton Glover, Keylee Glover and great-granddaughter McKenzie Glover and countless devoted friends. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, January 27 at Culley's Riggins Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee, Florida. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of her name at Big Bend Hospice.

Raymond (Ray) Ralph Raymond (Ray) Ralph, a former resident of Tallahassee, FL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday January 25, 2015 at home. He was born January 23, 1944 to George and Laura Ralph. He fought a courageous battle with kidney cancer. He was retired from Sprint Phone Company. He served as a member of Bahia Shine Temple of Orlando and was also a member of the Masonic lodge and order of the Eastern Star. Reeze, Lou Bernice  
Lou Bernice Reese Lou Bernice Reese, 86, Tallahassee, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, surrounded by her family. A daughter of the now late Robert Preston and Vera Mae Franklin Ragan, she was born January 17, 1929 in Cowarts, Alabama. She was a retired lithographic artist with Rose Printing Company. She was a devoted member at Bible Believers Fellowhip Church, and loved gardening, fishing and her family. She is survived by her daughter, Marla Gail (Mickey) Walker; granddaughter, Christy (Mike) Russo; great-grandchildren, Rachell Marie Molidor, Phillip Michael Miller, Trinity Erin Bafaro; great-great-grandchild, Oliver Chase Greene; and her sister, Edna Merle Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Reese; and a brother, Luther Edward "Buck" Ragen. The funeral is 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2015 at Abbey Funeral Home, with interment at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 PM Thursday, at the funeral home. Smith Jr., Bill  
Bill Smith, Jr. Bill Smith, Jr., 82, of Tallahassee, passed away on January 24, 2015. Bill was born on June 17, 1932 in Tallahassee. Bill was a very devoted and loving son to his mother, Decey Wallace Smith. He worked for the National Forest Service for 30 years and loved to fish. Survivors include one brother, Doyle J. Smith; one niece, Pat Messer Stillman; and one grand nephew, Gene Stillman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Decey Wallace Smith; and one sister, Willie Mae Smith Messer. Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 28th, at Aenon Church Cemetery in Tallahassee. Myrtice D. McGriff Smith, 83, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, of Havana, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Concord. She was a member of New St. John AME Church, where she served for many years. The service will be 2 PM Saturday, January 31, at New St. John AME Church with burial in the Barber Cemetery. Viewing will be from 3 PM to 8 PM TODAY January 30, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy (850-627-3700). She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Smith Sr. and her grandson, Stanley Smith. She is survived by her children, Glenn McGriff and Debra McGriff Rackley, both of Tallahassee, Voncile Smith, Rena Smith, Michael Smith and Earnest Smith, Jr. (Armanda), all of Havana; grandchildren, Theon Rackley (Shante'), Anthony Rackley, Deon McGriff, Brook McGriff Simms (Ernie), Armarious Smith, Dinari Smith, Keyderrius Smith (Torrie) and Mikayla Smith. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives.

Taylor, Angela King "Angie"  
Angela King "Angie" Taylor Angela King "Angie" Taylor, age 68, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, in the presence of her four sons. She courageously battled cancer for two years, which was the cause of death. Born March 14, 1946 in Ware County, GA to Johnny B. and Myrtice King, Angie graduated from Fitzgerald High School, Fitzgerald, Georgia and attended Valdosta State University. She held the title of Miss Fitzgerald in 1963. Angie has held many other titles throughout her life and will be especially remembered as; devoted wife, loving mother, prayer warrior, excellent hostess, little league coach, Broadleaf trucking payroll expert, garden club member. She loved to decorate anything, put together flower arrangements, teach Vacation Bible School, and be a caring friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church Monticello, Monticello, Florida. Angie was the loving wife of the late Gerald Frederick Taylor, Sr for 44 years. She is survived by her pride and joy, her four sons and their families: Phillip Taylor, wife Linsey and daughters Caroline and Clara Grace of Monticello, Florida, Kevin Taylor, wife Kathi and children Lexi and Pearson of Thomasville, Georgia, Gerald Taylor, Jr, wife Dana and children Gerald III and Anna Kate of Bluffton, South Carolina, Steadman Taylor and wife Hillary Taylor of Moultrie, Georgia. Angie is also survived by her 4 sisters: Martha Forrester of Snellville, Georgia, Carol Register, of Hoschton, Georgia, Johnell Hobbs of Bessemer, Alabama, and Chris Music of Waycross, Georgia. The memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, January 31, at First Baptist Church Monticello, Monticello, Florida. There will be a celebration reception following the memorial service at the fellowship hall of FBC Monticello. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome and should be made to the First Baptist Church Monticello general fund at 325 West Washington Street, Monticello, Florida 32344.
