Mom, Molly, Mel and John I can honestly and without reservation state that the Trombetta family are among the most gracious, caring, and loving people I've ever met. There's not a day or week that goes by without me remembering how wonderful “ya’ll” were to this country boy. Many of the lessons I learned about life and family came while visiting Mom, Mol, Mel & John on Limerick. When one had an event, all of you had an event. As a unit you have always lived, and as a unit you will always survive. Even during this troubling time love and family will always survive. Thank you for letting me into your lives and for being such a wonderful, caring and loving family.

Molly, Melanie, and John, I will truly miss ED. He gave me my real start in state government and believed in me. He was a true friend. I will miss those late night calls and knowing that he was there if I needed him. John, you did a great job at the service and I know Ed was so proud of all of you. He loved those grandkids. We shared many changes in our lives and he always remained a steadfast friend. He will be truly missed. Love, Aletta Shutes

My deepest sympathy to Ed's family. Ed had such a great sense of humor: twelve years later I still have the fake performance evaluation he gave me...it was hilarious! My condolonces to Mike whom I had the distinct pleasure to work with too. RIP

I knew and worked with Ed at the State and always valued his friendship and his humor. The last time I saw him his children were still young and we all had a good laugh standing there in Publix. He is a personality that stays with you forever. I know you all will miss him a lot. He was a good man and a very special person.
