Emma Louise Williams, 68, died on Wed, Feb. 27, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare following a brief illness.She was a longtime employee of Richardson's Family Funeral Care where she was an Administrative Assistant and Funeral Attendant. Prior to joining the staff of Richardson's, she provided child care services in her home. She was an active member of New Mt. Zion AME Church and former member of St. Phillip AME Church (Monticello) She served on a variety of boards and auxillaries and participated in several ministries at both churches. She also was a member of the former Joys of Praise Gospel Choir. She was married to the late Reverend Wilson H. Williams and was active in the Ministers Wives oganizations. Ms. Williams was a 1963 graduate of "Old Lincoln High School". A celebration of her life will be held 3PM on Sat., Mar. 9th at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center (2344 Lake Bradford Rd 32310). The funeral cortege will assemble at 3407 Sunnyside Dr. at 2PM on Sat. Presiding Elder (Ret) Ralph L. Wilson will officiate and the Right Reverend Chris A. Burney will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Beth Page Cemetery in Wacissa, FL. Ms. Williams will rest in the mortuary of RICHARDSON'S TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850)576-4144, Fri., Mar. 8th from 3-7pm. She leaves to cherish her memories, siblings, Berlin Roberts and Marilyn Williams; devoted cousins, Ephenia, Audrriana, & Kenya Covington, and Wanda Richardson; god children: Kinidii, Jarvis, Sandra, C.J., Darryl, Derryck; and a host of nieces, nephews, & other relatives and friends.
