Vivian W. Aderhold Vivian W. Aderhold, 91, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006. The service will be at 1 p.m. EST today at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home-Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191). A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. EST Wednesday at Second Ponce DeLeon Baptist Church in Atlanta, with burial at Crestview Cemetery. Born in Augusta, in 1915, to Joshua and Clarabelle Washington. She graduated from Tubman High School in Augusta, Ga. She married Harvey Aderhold, a radio station engineer in 1936. She and her husband moved to Atlanta in 1947. She was an active member of Second Ponce DeLeon Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She was a retired phonics teacher in the Atlanta school system. She moved to Tallahassee in 2005 to live with her son Vic and his wife Brenda. She was a member of All Saints Anglican Church. She is survived by a son, Vic Aderhold of Tallahassee; a daughter, Shari Branson of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a sister, Dorothy "Dot" Howington of Macon, Ga.; and a granddaughter, Blair Aderhold of Pensacola. she was preceded in death by her sisters, Katherine Newman of Augusta, Iris Gibson of Johnston, S.C. and Jo Mertins of Augusta.
