William Lawrence (Larry) Moses
Larry was born in Tallahassee, Florida on November 10,1944. He crossed over on February 7, 2014 after a long illness. He was a life long resident of Tallahassee who loved to give of himself and to travel, particularly on a motorcycle.
Larry graduated from Florida High School and worked for the Florida Department of Labor in the Division of Worker's Compensation and various other positions and departments with the state of Florida.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Elsie Moses and is survived by his brother Bobby (Mal Sun), his sister Sarah Hayes (Charlie), several nieces and nephews and his partner, Bob Crawford.
Larry believed we are each of us connected to every person and everything on this Earth. His passions included his dogs that he loved dearly, his plants that he freely shared with his lucky friends, and politics. Larry actively lent his support to his favored politicians, for many years working diligently to help them get elected. Larry was an avid Seminole fan who hardly missed a game. He purchased season tickets for many years and could be found in the bleachers cheering his team on. Larry's heart was a soft one, as he would frequently be seen pulling into areas where homeless citizens gather to give them food and drink out of the trunk of his car.
Larry was challenged with cancer for the last few years, but was able to be joyful about having had a full life, rather than sad about having to die. Much of Larry's joy emanated from his travels. His beloved friend Bob and he traveled extensively on a motorcycle, visiting Canada, Alaska and many, many of the regions of the country. He seemed at peace when he left us. We will miss him terribly.
In lieu of flowers, Larry would enjoy the notion of your giving something to
