William Mills, 79, Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in Tallahassee.
A son of the late John and Florence Fisher Mills, he was born May 28, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He entered the United States Air Force
at the age of 17 and retired after 20 years of service, having served during the Korean Conflict
and the Vietnam War
. Following his retirement from the USAF, he moved to Tallahassee, where he became an electronics instructor at Lively Vo-Tech School. From there, he relocated to Melbourne, FL, where he became employed as an electronic technical writer with the Harris Corporation. Upon returning to Tallahassee, he worked with his son-in-law at Osceola Supply.
He loved life, and his wealth was his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Roy and Kathy Mills, Jeff and Pam Mills, Doro Hittinger, Vicky Kraemer, Tina and Keith Paulson, William F. Mills, Scott and Pam Mills, William Mills, Jr. (Christopher Corser), Lynn and Aaron Cox; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
