Dearest Clark,
The earth and the water morn your loss. You loved the bounty that they provided. You took only what you needed and left the rest to nurture through it's own time.
You had that special touch with the earth and those you loved and those whom you called friend. Your friendship was a gift you gave to others and it help lift the burdens that we, your loved ones and friends sometimes carried. Your laugh was infectious and you shared it freely with us all. You loved God and family first in your heart and you had a big heart my friend. You sometimes wore that heart on on your sleeve so that you could share the rest with those that called you friend.
Your "Little Joseph" will catch fish with the Rod and Reel you gave him and each time, the earth and the heavens will plant on his heart a kiss from you.
Our conversations of the last few months are as precious as gold of renewing of our faith and spirit. I will miss you beyond what mere words can describe.
We both knew that only when we die do we really begin to live.

In Christ,

Patti

Dear Marie, Carl and Linda,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Clark and his family. Bob Wells said it all and I to know he is "home". I remember the time he was with Bob and going to Temple Baptist. Clark was busting with joy and excitment about how God was living and working thru him and how much he loved being part of the ministry. Our heavenly Father remembers to! There was no one like "SugarBoy"! Blessings and Hugs to you from Bridget

I have so many memories of Clark and our friendship lasted through many decades. I was blessed to re-connect with Clark a few years back and was amazed at what a gormet chef he was. I have many photos from our teenage years and each one tells a story. I will miss my dear friend and I know he is now walking in fields of gold.

old "sugar boy" ...dont know hardly where to start... I am so glad to know you have finely found home ! I think back to those many years ago and all the craziness we were living, I know that by God's marvelous Grace He brought me out...and I thank Him from the bottom of my heart for Him pressing on your heart to come see me those many years back, knowing there was something missing in your life and you hungered for it. I will never forget that Thursday afternoon I was packing for a Bill Glass prison ministry trip and you came to my house on Raymond Diehl Rd. broken and empty...I will never forget sharing Jesus with you and us getting on our knees and asking God to save you... "all those who come unto me will by no way be cast out"...I will never forget that summer you lived with my family and all those nights of prayer and joy, wk ends at the lake, laughing till our sides hurt, I remember that Sunday evening we walked into the church at Temple Baptist and the Holy Spirit almost took your breath...I remember grieving and worrying when you moved out and began to drift back into the things of the world...I love you my brother, and I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt, God has never left you or forsaken you... I am glad your home, please give TJ & mama a hug and let them know I will be there before you know it ! sorry the road was long and hard, but...it's worth every step to be where you are now! Love you heart & soul friend... John 14

The Way, the Truth, and the Life

1 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.
Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(you too can see Sug again)
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
