Nicole Powell Obituary
Nicole Marie Powell born 5/30/86 in Greenville, PA. passed away on 5/26/11 along with her daughter Hannah Marie Powell born in Tallahassee, FL. 5/3/06. Hannah passed away on 5/25/11. Nicole was a loving wife & stay at home mom. She enjoyed music, singing & spending time with family & friends. Hannah was a very special little girl that would make your heart smile. She was a princess in the making. Nicole is survived by husband "William (Billy) Powell, JR.", Son Braden (7yrs), Mother & Stepfather "Gary & Bonnie Kistler", Father "Mark Wilson", Sisters "Kathleen Johnson & Michelle Kistler", Brothers "Ryan Wilson & Mike Kistler" Grandparents "Ernest & Janet Skelton" along with many Aunts, Uncles & extended family.Hannah is survived by Father "William (Billy) Powell, JR.", Brother Braden (7yrs), Gammy & PawPaw "Robert & Risa Powell", Grandma & PeePaw "Gary & Bonnie Kistler", Grandpa "Mark Wilson", Great Grandparents "Ernest & Janet Skelton" along with many Aunts, Uncles & extended family.Nicole & Hannah will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing them.Visitation will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home 1737 Riggins Rd.(850) 877-8191 on Monday 5/30/11 from 6-8pm & Funeral Services held Tuesday 5/31/11 at 11am at Wacissa Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will immediately follow at Footman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: The Nicole & Hannah Powell Memorial Fund C/O Mr. Rooter Plumbing 500 Capital Circle SE. Suite B2 Tallahassee, FL. 32301

To the Husband and Son of Nicole and to the Father and Brother of Princess Hannah: I can say I know what you feel. I lost my sweet baby boy, Grayson, this past February. He has been gone for 4 months now, but it feels like 4 years. I can honestly say, that time does not heal this pain I feel, the pain you feel. My loss is still so "new" for me...I know to take one day at a time and when I have one of my many breakdowns, I accept it, cry, let it out, and remember the good memories. This is the hardest "thing" I have ever experienced in my life, and I will live with this pain for the rest of my life, as will you. But, I have a supportive family, people who have lost loved ones similar to me reach out to me and my family (As I am to you), counselors, medications, and the fact that one day I will see my son again, as you will see your wife, daughter, mother, and sister. I'm so sorry this tragedy has happen to such a wonderful and loving family as yours. Please know that my family has you in their prayers,our Church as well. They both had a very special place in my heart and in the rest of the families! Nothing will ever be able to replace their smiles or faces!
