Uncle Bill was a very loving and generous man. When something needed to be done, you didn't even need to ask. He was already there lending a hand. This was no different when it came to me. I was a "troubled" teenager. Uncle Bill and Aunt Linda opened their home to me and I lived there for a while. They treated me no different than their own children. I will forever be grateful to them for trying to help me. Uncle Bill, you will always hold a very special place in my heart and will be greatly missed.

Bill, you will surely be missed by many. You and Linda were a great example of what a family should be. You lived a full life and shared so much of yourself with others. You left behind so many great memories for those that had the privilege to know you. Linda I can't imagine the broken heart that you and your children are experiencing right now. We know that Bill is in heaven looking down on each one of you with so much love. He is with Jesus now and is your guardian angel.

Hi Bill, I will miss you so much not because we talked a lot but for your friendliness and pure joy each time that I saw you and talked with you. You have accomplished much but I only heard about it from other people. You had physical problems but I only knew it from hearing about it. You never bragged about all the things that you did and you never complained about the pain that you were dealing with. All I know of you is your smiles and the joy in talking with you. You were a living testimony on how we should present ourselves to others. Thank you for being a part of my life. I will miss you so.

I first met Bill in first grade in 1948 at the FSU Demonstration School in Tallahassee. His mother was my Cub Scout Den Mother. Our friendship was a close one throughout our lives. I am proud to have had such a man as a friend. He was totally committed to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Prayers and condolences to his wonderful wife, Linda, and all the family. Our loss is heaven's gain.
