I was very saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. At this very difficult time in your life, I hope you will remember the wonderfully long years of your lives together. She is no longer in pain and is in the arms of our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and friends who are there for all of you.

Thinking of you all during this difficult time. I will always cherish the memories I have of spending so much time at your home and how much Mrs. Nettles made sure us kids were ok. I have thought of her often over the years.

Another classmate has graduated from this life to the after life. This is the second one in just a few days. I remember Barbara, her sense of humor, and her athletic abilities and sportsmanship. I often wished I could be one of the cheerleaders or athletes like she was but i was born with other talents and abilities. There is an empty space in my high school heart now and my deepest sympathies go out to her family and closest friends. May she rest in peace and may her loved ones find comfort during their time of loss.
