She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, partner and love of 60 years, Howard E. Parks; infant sons, Norman and Michael Parks; sisters, Dorothy Hyde and Marjorie Place.

The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff of Big Bend Hospice for the love and care given to Mother during her time there.

Karen and Judy and all of Mama Myrt's babies, Mama Myrt is one of the blessings of my life. I am so fortunate to have known her. I can still hear her melodic voice in my mind's ear. You, too, are blessed to have had her so many years. May you celebrate her life with your memories, while knowing she is in a wonderful place in spirit. Dotty McPherson
