June was born on January 8, 1934 in Middletown, OH; she was the daughter of the late Melvin J. and Nellie D. Nickell. Murphree Lee of Tallahassee, FL.

She later married the late Lonnie F. Lee of Batesville, AR. They had 3 children, the late Lonnie F. Lee, Jr., Tommy D. Lee and Rhonda Lee Baker Bryan, of Tallahassee, FL. The last 22 years she was married to the late Phillip (Steve) Scroggins of Batesville, AR. They resided in Tallahassee, FL.

She was a kind, devoted and loyal licensed nurse for 43 years. She will be remembered for her compassion, gentle love and caring for people, friends and family.

She was blessed with and leaves behind a large loving family that includes a brother, Melvin J. Nickell, of Republic of Panama, a sister, Peggy Thompson McGowen, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
