Barbara Ann Porter

Barbara Ann Porter, 54, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 in Tallahassee, Florida. Funeral services will be 11 AM EDT, Sat., June 4 at Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends Fri., June 3 at Strong & Jones Chapel from 7 to 8 PM. She was a lifetime resident of Tallahassee and a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Austin Porter V; two daughters, Verenzo "Kay Kay" Cheeseborough (Harold) and Kimberly "Connie" Porter; seven brothers, Samuel Thomas Williams (Annie), Frank Williams, Jr. (Leola), James Morris Williams (Ann), Jerry Lee Williams, George Langford Williams (Carolyn), Larry Williams and Harry Williams; one sister, Kimberly Marie Taylor (Calvin); five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Trevion, and Janiya Cheeseborough, Jazmyne Madison and Lakalia Porter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Ruth and Frank Williams; her husband, Austin Porter IV; and four brothers, Eddie, Robert Tyrone and Lorenzo Williams.
