Covelle Brown gave me my start in Data Processing as a computer operator when I was 22 years old. Having made a 35 year career in the business, I am forever grateful to Covelle for bringing me on. After a couple of years of being a computer operator, Covelle said to me, 'you ought to become a computer programmer'. When I asked why, he said kind of bluntly, 'you can make more money'. Pretty straightforward and through him and another great manager in Data Processing I became a programmer. Covelle cared for my progress.

I will always remember him and the difference he made in my life.
