Pastor Flanagan was saved by the power of Jesus Christ in 1974 while attending Florida A&M University on a Marching 100 Music Scholarship.
It was there that God unlocked His purpose, plan and assignment for his life. In 1975, he became the group leader of the Tallahassee prayer Group comprised of students from FAMU, Florida State and Tallahassee Community College.
Pastor Flanagan was licensed in 1978, ordained in 1982 and installed as Pastor in the church he founded, Family Worship and Praise Center in 1997. His desire was to assist the Body of Christ in Mobilizing a Movement for His Manifestation. Treasuring his legacy and love are: five loving daughters - CyKari, CyNedra, CyRhonda, CydNey and CynClaire; a granddaughter, Kinsley Noelle Dunn; his friend, former wife and mother of his children, Dr. Rhonda Blackwell Flanagan; loving parents, Robert and Earnestine Hall and Johnny and Georgia Fells; siblings, Johnny "Larry" (Lisa) Fells, Jr., Teresa (Rodney) Golson, Carolyn (Anderson) Ruffin, Melvin Flanagan and Renee (Wendell) McMillian; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his family at Family Worship and Praise Center.
