Mrs. Dennie Williams Anderson went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on her 95th birthday, December 30, 2013.
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Monticello, with burial in the Church Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Willie. Viewing-visitation is Friday 3-7:30 p.m. at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO 850-997-5553. A lifelong Jefferson County resident, Mother Anderson had served as a choir member and had been past secretary for the Hickory Hill Pallbearers Lodge.
Among her survivors are: her daughters, Lefornia A. (Havord) Francis, Josephine A. James and Miner A. Brookins; son, Willie J. Anderson; a granddaughter raised as a daughter, Virginia Robinson; two special nieces, Delois George and Carrie (Tony) Soria; a special nephew, Freddie Williams, 12 grandchildren; 28 great grands and 24 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
