Scott and Kelli,

Do not underestimate the value of prayer. We are urged at Ps. 55:22 to "throw our burdens upon Jehovah, and he himself will sustain us. Prayer not only makes us feel better, but the "Hearer of prayer" promises to give holy spirit to his servant who sincerely ask for it. (Ps. 65:2; Luke 11:13) God's holy spirit can equip us with "Power beyond what is normal" to go from one day to the next. (2 Cor. 4:7)

Emma was a Special Sister to me and I will always cherish the support she gave during Mother's illness and death. We all loved her dearly.

Love always,
Aunt Carol

The faithful man, Job, once asked at Job 14:14, "If a man die, shall he live again?"

His heavenly Father answered that when he sent his Son to earth, and he resurrected his friend Lazarus, whom he said was "sleeping".

This was and is an example of what is to come on a much larger scale, and was a message from God to me and to you that we have a hope, and although this is indeed a very sad time, Jesus said at John 5:28 "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth..."

Kelli and Scott, we love you and you have our sincerest condolences.  You both are in our prayers to have strength at this time, and comfort in knowing that if you draw close to God, he will draw close to you.

She belongs to the most high God and now she is resting in his bosom. She is now free from all her pain and suffering. Those who die in the Lord are asleep and on that great day will arise to go back with him to a prepared place. Just know that God will never leave you nor forsake you and that he will see you through this difficult time.
