Jimmy Strickland Obituary
Jimmy Erastus Strickland, 78, of Crawfordville, FL. passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 in Crawfordville. He was born in Ivan, Fla. and was a contractor.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel.
He is survived by two sons: Jimmy DaWayne Strickland (Denise) of Crawfordville and Damon Clayton (Connie) of Tallahassee. Four brothers: Bobby Strickland (Alsie), Leaston Strickland, Fred Strickland (Annette) and Wayne Strickland (Evon) all of Crawfordville. Two sisters: Maxine Allen and Geraldine White both of Crawfordville. Two grandsons: Michael DaWayne Strickland and Josh Clayton. A friend: Louise Nelson of Crawfordville and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Isaiah Strickland and Epsie Rayburn Strickland. Two brothers: Roland Strickland and Leroy Strickland.

DaWayne and Damon I remember you guys playing on the river bank while your Dad fished. He will be missed by many and I hope you guys are O.K. and doing what your daddy taught you. God Bless all of you and remember Dad may be gone but he still has eye on you guys from above. Gone but never forgotten.
