Mary Roseann Agnew Mahorner

Ms. Mary R. Mahorner, 75, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at her home in Tallahassee. Mary was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Agnew. Mary was a long time resident of Tallahassee. She was a real estate agent for several years and also worked in vocational rehabilitation services. Her zest for life and sense of humor will be missed by those who loved her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her four children: James G. Mahorner, Mary Christine Gore, and Ted G. Mahorner all of Tallahassee, and Amy Sykes of Quincy, FL; one stepson, John G. Mahorner of Georgia; two sisters, Ann T. Agnew of Tallahassee, and Jane S. Woodin of Falmouth, MA; one brother Thomas E. Agnew of Brooklyn, NY; and three grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee on Thursday, May 19, at 11:00 am. Online condolences may be made at www.abbeyfh.com.

God bless y'all. Mary was definitely a lively spirit. She will be quite the hostess in Heaven. My love and prayers are with the family, especially you, Ted. You are one of my dearest friends. I love you and I am always here if you need me.
