Tony was on my hiring board at the 162FW. I will always remember him for his funny "one liners" and his southern drawl. My thoughts and prayers go out to the prosser family. Rest in peace in Tony.

I met Tony when I started working in Maintenance full time at the 162nd. He was always friendly and I never heard him speak a harsh word to or about anyone. I loved his Southern drawl and his trademark, "How you be?" whenever he met someone. I'm sure he'll be standing at the river waiting for us with his smile and cheerful "How you be?". My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of your loved one. Goodbye Tony and go with God.

Tony and I became friends at the Tucson Air Guard and we would later car pool together for several years as Tony moved his family to a home a few blocks from ours. Tony and I shared the love of airplanes and he was fond of the U-2 and me the C-130 so we had many stories to tell of our Vietnam experiences. He will be missed by his many friends. Wy wife Judy and I extend our sincere condolences to Teresa and all of their family.

I knew Tony as a git er done, no BS type. He was a nice guy and always had a nice greeting in that rich southern drawl of his. He will be missed here on earth by family and friends, but our loss is certainly heaven's gain

I met Tony shortly after he joined the Guard and I'm sure we were having a cool one and talking airplanes. Since we were both fro The South, we quickly became good friends. He asked if I would like to go for a ride in his Piper PA-12. I think it was on a Sat. that I met him at his house at the Freeway Apt. where I had the chance to meet his wife Teresa. We soon went out to fly his Piper and he made me get in the front seat and fly that bird!! This started a long and enjoyable friendship that has held up over the years. When he and Teresa moved to their new house I was soon invited to come for a visit-- and see his new hand-made guitar!! Later on I got to see his hand-made telescope. Then the camera set-up he built to take pictures with the scope. At work, when I had a hydraulic problem while flying a Maint. test hop I would get Tony on the radio 'cause I knew he would have the answer I needed to solve my problem. One A-7 had a bad problem and Tony worked with me off and on for over a month but he finally found the problem. Smart man; tenacious; find the solution; don't quit; work it out-- that was Tony over and over!!! After he retired I didn't get by to visit as often as I should have but whenever we did meet it was old friends and big smiles. I'll miss you Buddy and wish you were still here. Sorry you decided to "Go West" but that is out of our hands. Teresa I'm sorry for your loss and I know you and the kids are all up set. My prayers for all of you and for all of us. Goodbye old friend- goodbye. --Bill Barnitz

Dear Prossers: How very many years it has been --- yet your family have been in my heart all this time, because of the house at Lake Bradford. My parents bought it from you all. I remember meeting your children, as I was one of the "new children" moving in. And I remember as Prosser kids would drop by to check on the house. That house was like a living thing that seemed to protect and nourish so many. I am so sorry for Tony's passing and I will remember him always -- it's like one of the house's children is gone and we miss him so bad - strength be with you.

I first met Tony at the Air Guard in 1971. We shared a common interest and love of private aircraft. Through the many years Tony was always there when I needed help. We spent many hours exchanging airplane stories. Tony was a great guy, a friend and his soft spoken southern drawl was his signature. My prayers and thoughts are extending to Tony's family.

Tony was a good fellow soldier. He cared about the planes, the men inside the planes, and all of us who supported the mission. His goal was to do a good job every day. It is a great loss to all who knew him.

I first met Tony when I joined the Guard in 1989 as a member of the Security Forces Squadron. Tony was a joy to talk to, and he gave me the best advice on how to make the Guard a career. Senior Prosser is one of the few Guardsmen that I will always remember. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, may your memories bring all of you comfort.
