I did not personally know Mr. Carducci however I heard many wonderful things from my good friend, John Miranda. The first time John sent me a story Michael had written, I knew he was a wonderful man as he wrote from his heart.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. May we always remember his words...

Michael was a gracious and amazing person, one of the friendliest people I've ever known. He never failed to greet everyone and to chat, always interested in the individuals he spoke with. We in the Tallahassee Writers Association and Big Bend Poets will miss Michael tremendously. He was a loyal and devoted member and always promoted both organizations. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time. Rest in peace, Michael.

Mike was the one who got me admitted into the Poetry Society in
Tallahassee and also for the State of Florida. It was the very kindest
thing to do and I am forever grateful.
We spoke by phone once, and then later e-mailed each other.
I will miss our communications very much. And also his poetry.

My condolences to his family, along with my prayers.
