Mrs. Appleby was my second grade teacher at Highlands Elementary. My class will be celebrating our 30-year reunion in 2013 and I will specifically remember three teachers from my school years and Mrs. Appleby is one of them. She was a creative person and a great encourager, even to a second grader. I know she will be missed...

So sorry to hear of your mom's death. I pray God's comfort and support for all three of you ladies, Judy, Janet and Candy. Hold your memories with you mom close, they can't be taken from you and sometimes they are the only way to make it through the day. God's blessings, Becky Cooper Watson (went to school with Janet)

Dear Judy, Janet and Candice, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I am Donys Sigman Teller and I use to babysit for the three of you. I loved both of your parents very much. I saw them back in the late 90's at Silver Springs at a concert. They both looked great and younger than their ages. I am so happy that I was able to visit with them back then. God bless all of you. Love, Donys Teller

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Appleby. She was my 2nd Grade Teacher at Ward-Highlands Elementary School in the early 70's. What a sweet lady. From time to time I would see her and Mr. Appleby out around Ocala always together, and I would always go up to say hello to them both. I knew Mr. Appleby when he taught at Forest High School. They were presious people who touched alot of folks. I am proud to have known them both, God Bless your family in this difficult time. What a sweet life!! God Is Good!
