Vera Jefferson Branton
Mrs. Vera J. Branton, retired Librarian for the Orange County Public Schools died Friday, May 20, 2016.
The Celebration of her Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Drew Ave., Orlando. There will be a home going celebration in Tallahassee on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Saint Peter Primitive Baptist Church, 2565 Centerville Road at 11:00 A.M. with burial in the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband: Israel Branton, Jr., two sons: Jeffery Branton and wife Nakisha, Israel Branton III and wife Angela; six brothers: Frazier Jefferson, Jr., Leonard Jefferson, Michael Jefferson (Alla Kay), Emanuel Jefferson (Catherine), Silas Jefferson (Clara), Timothy Jefferson (Sandra); two sisters: Isabelle Gray, Louise Jefferson Bennett; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Branton Wade (James), and Patricia Branton McGill; a host of dedicated nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Deacon Frazier Jefferson and Mother Harriette Hill Jefferson.
Mitchells Orlando Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements located at 501 Fairvilla Rd, Orlando, FL 32808
