Wesley Carl Brown

Wesley Carl Brown Carl left his family and friends to go live with his eternal Father in Heaven on October 11,2009 after loosing his battle to brain cancer. Carl was born in Coleman, Georgia on January 20, 1924. Carl was one of nine children. He served with the 74th Seebee battalion during World War II. He followed construction after the war and had his own heavy duty construction company for many years. Carl was always quick to give God credit for the wonderful life that he has lived; he was truly a faithful servant and blessed the lives of so many with his kindness, generosity and compassion. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Crumpton Brown and his children, Susan Brown Wright, Richard Brown, Eric Reigel and Susan Reigel. Carl leaves behind four grandchildren children and three great grandchildren. He also leaves three sisters to cherish his memory, Rebecca Hamerick, Dewie Bethea and Elizabeth Taylor. A Memorial Service, celebrating Carl's life, will be held at Canopy Roads Baptist Church on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. EDT.
