Wesley Emerson Cline, 37, died suddenly on Saturday, March 30 at his home. He was a loving husband to his wife Katherine and a devoted father to his daughter Julia.
He was an attorney in the law practice of Timothy Padgett. Wesley received his B.A. in English from Christopher Newport University and his law degree from Emory University.
He is survived by his parents Tom and Linda Cline of Hampton, Virginia; sister, Lori Dunn (
Steve) of Poquoson, Virginia; brother Timothy Cline (Sonja) of Chantilly, Virginia; and sister, Tammy Wills (Scott ) of Ruckersville, Virginia; and his aunt and uncle Susan and David Brindle of Concord, North Carolina and uncle and aunt Billy and Pat Nelson of Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother- in- law, David and Sue Colombo of Tallahassee, and his brother-in-law and sister-in law, Paul and Katie Colombo of Tallahassee.
Wesley was a loving uncle to Jeffrey Wakefield and Kathryn Dunn; Anna Sophia, Adrianna, Albert, Cecilia, and Dominik Cline; Emma Wills; and Andrew and David Colombo.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Roberta Polick; paternal grandparents Emerson Cline and Jean Cline Leatherwood; maternal uncle James Polick and maternal aunt Barbara Nelson.
A volunteer for the American Liver Foundation and Junior Achievement in Atlanta, Wesley also served as collegiate advisor for Emory Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 4 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church of Tallahassee.
