Wayne C. Ball
Wayne C. Ball went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 4, 2013. He died peacefully at home in the presence of his family.
Wayne was born November 5, 1926 to G.C. and Ula Mae Ball in Campbellton, Fl. He graduated from Campbellton High School and was a veteran of World War II.Wayne retired as Chief of the Bureau of Weights and Measures, Department of Agriculture after over 30 years of service.
He was a devout Christian man who read the Bible daily.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nell N. Ball, his daughter, Susan Ball Cravener and her husband, Michael, and his grandson, Matthew Cravener. Other survivors include Wayne's brother, Joe Ball and his wife, Jane, of Tallahassee and his sister Doris Ivey of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Wayne enjoyed the final 18 years of his life living next door to his daughter and her family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
The family has chosen to celebrate Wayne's life with a private service and wish to express appreciation for the many thoughts and prayers that have been offered in Wayne's behalf.
