Gwendolyn F. Camp
Gwendolyn Fairley Camp, 71, of Tallahassee unexpectedly went Home to be with her Savior on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Monticello Community Church of God In Christ, with burial in Oakfield Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the Church. TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950 is serving the family. Born in Camden, AL, she moved to Queens, NY when she was 18. There, she was a faithful servant at Bethel Gospel Church.
In 2002, she and her family moved to Tallahassee and she worshiped at Faith Power and Praise, Thomasville, GA. At the time of her passing, she was worshiping at the Heart Church in Tallahassee. Her love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of her husband of 50 years, Glenn L. Camp; sons, Darrell, Frederick (Mareline) and Andre Camp; daughters, Priscilla (Anthony) Lecator, Lillie M. Fairley and Dorothy (Keith) Gaskins; brothers, Willie (Callie B.) Fairley and Dan McCants, Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Felder and Patricia Ann Fairley; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, including a cousin, Elder Coleman (Ruby) Fairley.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dan McCants, Sr. and Lillie Bell Fairley; siblings, Otis Fairley, Lizzie Martin and Debra Ann Dugger.
