Willie Mae "Fluffy" Gainous, 93 of Quincy, passed on Feb. 1, at Riverchase Care Center in Quincy, FL. She was a member of Union Chapel AME of Quincy in the Sawdust Community.
Funeral services will be held Sat. Feb. 8, at St. James AME Church at 1 PM with burial at Union Chapel AME Church Cemetery. Viewing will be Fri. Feb. 7, from 5-8 PM at Union Chapel AME Church in Quincy. She is survived by her daughter: Gwendolyn Wilson; Nephew/Son:Bishop Reginald Washington Sr.(Theresa); 4 step-sons: Hershall Rolax(Veronica), Owen Gainous (Viriglene), Lonnie Gainous Jr(Willete),Terry Gainous; step-daughter: Dorothy Straughter;24 Grands; 60 great grands; 4 great great grands, 1 great great great grand; brother: James Paul; sister: Bernice Crooms;sister-in-law: Katherine Gainous; Brother-in-Law: Henry Gainous; daughter-in-law: Eva G. Leonard; 9 God children; special helper:Darryl Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
