Daniel Hogan
Daniel (Dan) Hogan, 63, of Tallahassee, passed on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Miracle Hill Nursing Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center.
A member of Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, Dan Hogan served on the Deacon Board, Finance Committee, Choir, and organized the Mt. Pleasant Male Chorus. He also was the former lead singer for the Spiritual Wonders Quartet and other groups in the area and was known by many as that "singing man". While at Miracle Hill he shared his singing gift by rendering songs in some of their worship services.
Dan attended the public schools in Leon County. For many years he was a car salesman, most recently he was employed in the energy department through contracted services for Leon County Schools.

His homegoing service will be 11 AM, Saturday, March 15 at Old West Florida Enrichment Center, 2344 Lake Bradford Road with burial at Southside Cemetery. Strong and Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years Dilcy H. Hogan.
Sons: Elder David Gabriel (Marcelete) Hogan, Dexter Lester Hogan and Donnie Hogan; Daughter: Valerie (Orell) Brooks; Granddaughters: Latasha, Natalie, Danielle, Jalyn, Destiny and Dream Hogan; Grandsons: David "Gabe" Hogan, Orell Brooks, O'Ryan Brooks and Brandon Thomas; Brothers: Ben (Jeanette) Hogan, Charles (Theresa) Hansberry, Michael (Anna) Hogan; Sister: Wilma (Ricky) Sherman; Aunts: Maybell Sampson and Rosa Washington; Sisters-in-law: Josephine Woodard, Martha Randolph, Margie Young, Geneva Westley and Industry (Rev.
William) Brunson; Goddaughter: Kyra Adams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
