Louie Edward Carter
Louie Edward Carter, 81, a resident of Tallahassee, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his residence, with his loving family by his side.
A son of the late Bradley Edgar and Julie Boyett Carter, he was born September 11, 1932 in Jackson County, Florida. He was employed in the mobile home industry, loved to fish, and attended both Deer Lake United Methodist Church and Seminole Baptist Church.
He is survived and loved by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn Pullen Carter; children, Paul and Lisa Smith, Kent and Kerry Smith, Terry and John Hoover, Frances and Ray Garner; eleven grandchildren, including Stacy Dilmore and Yolonda Ferris, who he helped raise; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special brother-in-law, Jack Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Louise Parrish Carter; children, Sharon Carter Dionne and Louie Edward Carter, Jr.; brother, Leston Carter; and a sister, Pauline Scott.
A memorial service is 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Deer Lake United Methodist Church.
