David Herman Scott
David Herman Scott, 79, of Tallahassee, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014, at Margaret Dozier Hospice House.
A native of St. Andrews, FL, David had lived in Tallahassee for 45 years. He was a retired Civil Engineer and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Lucina S. Scott.
Survivors include brother, George Bukota (Peggy) of Seattle; sister, Alice Boley of Tampa; six children, Amy Myers (Mike) of Savannah, Beth Gainey of Cape Coral, Ellen Fisher (Rob) of Marietta, John Scott of Quincy, Kathleen Lawrence (Roger) of Calvary and Frances Folsom of Tallahassee, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Bevis Funeral Home Chapel in Tallahassee with interment at 2:00 PM CDT at Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday at Bevis Funeral Home. Kelly Barber of Bevis Funeral Home (www.bevisfh.com, 850.385.2193) is assisting the family with arrangements.
