Greg Alan Dickson
Greg Dickson, 56, of Seagrove Beach, FL passed away on June 25, 2014.

Gregory Alan was the first child of Charles and Esther Dickson.
He was born on September 24, 1957 and grew up in Greenwood, Fl. His love for the Gulf of Mexico was apparent in many jobs he worked. Greg was a tug-boat captain for Local Tugs and Dowell, Venice, La; Beach Charters and Wavetamer Boat Sales, Mexico Beach, FL. After earning his PADI certification for dive master, Greg captained with Kilfish Charters, Port St. Joe, FL. He also worked for several years at Capitol Hydraulics, Tallahassee, FL.
Upon moving to Seagrove Beach, Greg owned and managed a Mailbox Etc. with his former wife Elizabeth. After selling the business, Greg became a sous chef at Café 30A and most recently with the V Restaurant in Seagrove Beach.

Greg was predeceased by his parents, Charles W. and Esther A. Dickson.

He is survived by his daughter, Patty Duncan Thames and a grandson Patrick Duncan of Greenwood, FL; a brother, Charles W. (Chuck) Dickson, Jr. of Greenwood, FL; two sisters, Kathy (John) Arnold and Krissy (Pat) Gentry both of Beacon Hill, FL; and a special friend, Elizabeth Curry of Seagrove Beach, FL.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on July 19, 2014 at 7:30 pm est at Veteran's Memorial Park in Beacon Hill, FL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greg A. Dickson Memorial Reef Fund.
Tyndall FCU #1990895 501 Cecil G. Costin Blvd Port St. Joe, FL 32456. A fishing reef located offshore of Mexico Beach will be named for Greg.
Clary-Glenn Funeral Home of Defuniak Springs, FL are in charge of arrangements.
