Ruthie Mae James
Mrs. Ruthie Mae James, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Tallahassee, FL. She was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church in the Macon Community of Tallahassee, FL where her service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014. Burial will be at the Southside Cemetery.

She was a devoted domestic worker for many years to the late Mr. & Mrs. Hank Mannheimer, the late Ms. Carolyn Krentzman and the late Dr. & Mrs. T. Q. Srygley.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mae Frances Holloman (Roosevelt) of Tallahassee, FL; a step-daughter, Veronica Sanders (James) of Jacksonville, FL; five devoted grandchildren, Everett Tanner Holloman (Dionne), Darrin K. Holloman (Sabrina), Lyris H. Butts (Carlos) all of Tallahassee, Florida, Erika Goyens (Kenneth) of Atlanta, GA and Jacqulyn Sanders of Jacksonville, FL; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marguerite Thomas and Pinkey Knight, both of Tallahassee, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Stephens, her husband, Alonzo James, four brothers and one great-grandson.
