Agnes Jeannette Parramore Reams

Agnes Jeannette Parramore Reams, 93, passed away in her sleep at home on July 29, 2014,

She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Florida on September 14, 1920. After Agnes graduated from Mt. Pleasant School, she went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Florida State College for Women.

Agnes started her career as a teacher in Greenville, FL before moving to Tallahassee in 1963. Her love for children ultimately led to her opening a home daycare in 1975. "Aunt Aggie", as she was affectionately called, continued to keep children for 38 years until she was 91 years old. The countless number of families will forever remember her for the loving care that she provided to their children. However, everyone that knew her was forever touched by her steadfast commitment to her faith that guided her in all aspects of her life.

She is survived by her 2 children, Leigh Reams McAuley and Albert "Bert" D. Reams III (Suzan); 4 grandchildren, Brooke McAuley Conlan (Ryan), Brandee Leigh McAuley, Albert D. Reams VI and Susie Ruth Reams; 2 great-granddaughters, Braeleigh Jeanette Rushing and soon to be born, Presley Conlan; former son-in-law, Tommy McAuley; "special family", The Riera's, Booth, Davin, Zack, Logan, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Tony Reams; and brothers, Lee and Houston Parramore.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 2nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with Funeral Services and Burial to follow on Sunday, at 2:00pm, all to be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel.
