Eloise L. Fischer

Eloise L. Fischer, 89, passed away August 25, 2014 in Tallahassee, FL. She was a native of Dayton, Ohio where she was a long-time member of Patterson Park Church.

Eloise married her beloved husband Joseph in 1948. The couple moved to Tallahassee in 2006, residing at Westminster Oaks. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Eloise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She taught kindergarteners at Dayton Christian School for many years and taught Sunday School at Patterson Park. She loved the Lord and spent her life giving of herself to others. Eloise was filled with a loving spirit and her outgoing, friendly nature and joyful smile will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph M. Fischer; her children, Lynne Mulder (Gerard), Jeffrey Fischer (Diane), and Lee Ann Willock; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Wiladene Jones and Ann Felter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Helen Broadaway and brother, Everett.
A memorial service will be held Friday (8/29), 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Baptist Church. Family will welcome friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Westminster Oaks Benevolent Fund, Covenant Hospice (TL), or Patterson Park Church (Beavercreek, OH).
