Patty was a dear, sweet true lady. She has left an amzing legacy, especially in her two great sons who I have known my entire life, Bill and Bob.

I am proud to say that Dad had a part in bringing Patty and Godfrey together, with the baseball game in Centennial Park.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Smith family. I know she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Growing up in Tallahassee as a friend of Bob and Bill, I have such pleasant memories of Patty Lou and Godfrey. They were wonderful people who raised fantastic children and treated everyone they encountered with grace and dignity. Patty Lou was a saint.

To the Smith Family,

The sadness of the passing of Patty is felt by many, especially her Chi Omega sisters. May the thought of knowing that friends share in your sadness be of comfort to you. As she enters the Omega chapter, please know that her Chi Omega sisters will celebrate her life as part of our Memorial Ceremony at our annual Eleusinian Banquet on our Founder's Day April 5th and we will commemorate her memory with a donation to the Chi Omega Foundation at Nationals. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
