James Tyler Moore

May 18, 1989 - November 13, 2011

James Tyler Moore, 22, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained from a vehicle accident. Tyler was born on May 18, 1989, in Tallahassee, Florida to James T. and Mary Ann Moore. Tyler was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee and a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church. Tyler is survived by his Parents, as well as his Brother, James Timothy Moore, Jr. of Tallahassee.
Tyler always had a big smile that was second only to his very big heart.
He was always right there when his family or friends needed him. From a very early age, Tyler had a strong affection for animals, especially his dogs. During his early years, his bulldog Duke was his constant companion around the house and always accompanied him and his brother on their regular fishing trips across the street to Lake Tom John.
His bulldog, Dakota, has been by his side for the last five years and also mourns his passing.
Tyler was a true outdoorsman who loved spending time at the family farm hunting, target practicing, doing tractor work, and riding four wheelers with his Family, Friends, and Dakota. He just enjoyed being outdoors with the peace and quiet of nature.

Tyler graduated from Chiles High School and attended College while working part-time with the City of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Department. He was looking forward to a career in the field of Forestry and Timber Management.

Other survivors include his Paternal Grandfather James Moore, (and wife Helen) of Bonifay, FL and his Maternal Grandmother, Pauline Pigott, of Tylertown, MS. Tyler was also blessed with a very large extended Family of more than a hundred aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tyler was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Lucille Moore, of Bonifay, FL and by his Maternal Grandfather, William Buford Pigott, of Tylertown, MS.

We thank God for the 22 wonderful and joyous years we had with Tyler, and he will always be with us in our hearts.
